Man stabbed to death by neighbor in Douala

A man in his twenties is said to have stabbed his neighbor by name Eden, to death in the Non-Glacée neighborhood of Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred near a well in the neighborhood, where Eben happened to be fetching water.

“Eben bent down to carry fetch some water from the well… The guy then used the opportunity to rush toward Eben and stab him in the back. When the neighbors tried to intervene, threatened to stab them as well,” disclosed a resident of the neighborhood.

According to reports, this is not the first time that the young man is committing such an act. He had reportedly killed at least two persons in the past.

Another resident said,” His father came and attested that the young man had previously killed about two persons in the past.”

Enraged by the horrific act, the residents headed to the family house of the murderer where they demolished a good part of the building.

The family of Eben has remained inconsolable following the tragic demise of their son.
