Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan share how they met 20 years ago.
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has opened up about the story of how he first encountered his wife, Priscilla Chan, in a post on his official Facebook page. The revelation was shared with his millions of followers on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
In his narrative of their 20-year journey together, Zuckerberg reminisced, “We met at a going-away party my friends threw for me in college when they thought I was about to get kicked out of school. I asked her out but told her we’d need to go out soon since I might only have a few days left. Later on, I started Facebook, we got married, and now have three wonderful girls…”
Priscilla also shared the following message on her page “20 years since our first date. He still makes me laugh all the time, and we are never short wild adventures. And now we have 3 little ladies riding along with us!”.
The 38-year-old tech mogul and his wife welcomed their third child, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg, on March 24, 2023, as announced through an Instagram post featuring heartwarming pictures of the family.
Social media users expressed their admiration for the couple’s love story. Eran Comendador commented, “That’s an awesome love story… Congratulations & happy anniversary both of you.” Melinda Cartalla added, “Wow, what an amazing love story you and your precious wife have, Sir Mark Zuckerberg. May your love for each other flourish all the more as years go by…Blessings of good health, joy, love, and peace be to you and your three wonderful children.”
Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan are already parents to three daughters: Aurelia who is about 7 months old, August, aged 5, and Maxima “Max,” aged 7. The couple tied the knot on May 19, 2012. Facebook, founded in 2004 by Zuckerberg and his fellow Harvard University students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes, has since evolved into the largest social network globally, boasting nearly three billion users as of 2021, with approximately half of them engaging with the platform daily.
