Mayhem in Bui as Amba boys publicly shoot to death couple, one other

Vekovi, a small locality in Bui division of the restive North West region has witnessed another bloody scene. The incident which has provoked outrage took place Friday March 20.

Three persons including a couple were shot dead by suspected Ambazonia fighters.

“They were accused of being traitors to the struggle, they were brought to the village square and murdered,” a source on the ground told Mimi Mefo on the basis of anonymity.

This is not the first time villagers are killed in Vekovi for conniving with government soldiers.

The village has also been hit by military invasion and raid since the start of this year.
