Mayhem in Yaounde as bike rider stabs 22-year-old student to death

Barely 24 hours after news broke out of a student killing his classmate in the nation’s capital, news of the death of 22-year -old Rosa Linda also been announced.

Reports say she had left the Etoudi neighborhood to her residence at the early hours of the day (1-2am).

She was transported by a bike rider back to the house who stabbed Rosa Linda infront of her home upon arrival.

The motives for the macabre act remains a mystery to all as the bike rider fled the scene after carrying out the macabre act.

The killing of the Young student has brought to question the level of security that exists in the capital city.

Crimes of such magnitude have been on a rapid increase in recent weeks. Strange is the fact that most of these crimes have often gone unpunished and unaccounted for.

A similar incident equally occured yesterday as the Secretary General of the Ngoro locality in the Mbam and Kim Divison, François Ebongo was shot dead at his residence in the presence of his family members. The town of Yaoundé has also seen increased explosives attacks that have led to dozens of lives injured in several hotspots of the city.
