Mbappe meets PM Joseph Dion Ngute, Sports Minister in Yaoundé, Eto’o snubbed?

Kylian Mbappe has continued his stay in Cameroon with timely visits to some of Cameroon’s major figures within the government.

The French football team has already had an audience with Cameroon’s Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouele Kombi.

Mbappe, as stipulated in his program in Cameroon has also met with the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute at the Star Building in Yaoundé.

Minister Joseph Dion Ngute granted the football star audience, on behalf of the head of state, and also handed him some gifts representing the bounties of the country’s cultural diversity. Kylian in his turn gifted the PM his signed football jersey.

Mbappe’s parcours in Cameroon are expected to continue with a visit to Djebale, his father’s native village in the Wouri division, Littoral region.

Cameroonians have however been quick to notice the conspicuous omission of a potential meeting with FECAFOOT president, Samuel Eto’o from the program.

The FECAFOOT president has also been uncharacteristically silent on the visit of the footballer, triggering several questions from football fans.
