Mbengwi: Dozens on the run after soldiers kill three, set houses on fire

Three persons were on Monday killed and several houses set ablaze in Gunuku village, in Mbengwi, Momo Division, North West Region of Cameroon.

It is not clear what provoked the attack on the village by soldiers.

“Getting the information to the media immediately it happened was almost impossible, because of network issue,” said our source.

“Those killed had their hands tied behind,” a source said.

MMI also gathered that many have fled to the bushes, for safety after soldiers carried out the killings.

“Many are now in the bushes because the soldiers were shooting indiscriminately. Three were caught and executed,” an eye witness told MMI.
