11-year-old Nandjou Clarence is the newly enthroned Chief of Fotetsa, a village in Dschang, West Region of Cameroon.
The young traditional ruler was on Wednesday February 1st, 2023 chosen by the king makers of the village.
It was during a ceremony to celebrate the life of Late Fon Djouatsa II Pierre Mariveau — which had local authorities in attendance, including the Senior Divisional Officer, SDO of Menoua, Itoe Peter.
His Majesty Nandjou Clarence is a class 6 pupil (in the primary school) — and would have to officially rule his people, when he comes of age.
He replaces the late father and former king who died at the age of 77 after ruling for over 30 years.
