Men Rape, Kill 31-Year-Old In Douala

Two Young Men have been presented to the population of the Douala III municipality as those who raped and killed a 31-year-old lady Mikwango Yakim Josée on April 13, 2019.

Family members say Mikwango Yakim Jae Josée who was on a short visit to Douala from Yaoundé, left the house at St Thomas on April 13th at about 10pm, few minutes after dinner complaining of the hot weather in Douala and never returned.

Unknown to family members, she was kidnapped by two young men – Bayic Ndjebayi Clement, 27 and Taghe Tchedjou Ghislaine, 26.

The duo whisked 31-year-old Mikwango Yakim to their hideout in PK11, where she was raped to death.

The Crime Scene

Aided by their neighbors they dropped her body at the Douala Laquintinine Hospital mortuary and attempted to run before being apprehended by police officials who were alerted by hospital security guards.

Few days at the judiciary police in Douala, the supposed killers Clement and Ghislaine were released under questionable circumstances according to family members.

The Suspected Rapists

The family of Mikwango Yakim after close to two months of search heard their sister’s body was at the Douala Laquintinine hospital mortuary.

Disappointed with the police, the family turned to the national gendarmerie which after a series of investigations, arrested the dou in PK 11 Douala III.
