Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock Distinguishes Wouri Economic Operators


The Divisional Delegate for Wouri of the the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries, MINEPIA has distinguished some economic operators in the Wouri Division.

The traders were recognized for their hygienic awareness and improved service quality. The award ceremony took place on March 31 in the Littoral regional capital, Douala.

Talking to the press at the ceremony, the Divisional Delegate said the award aimed at “…identifying the best traders, equally to encourage fish vendors to be more hygenic and to improve in the quality of service they render to the public…”

Two of the distinguished traders at the ceremony were; Idrissou of “Super U” and Moustapha from “Poissonnerie NICO.”

“I am very happy to win this award because inside Super U, we have very good employees and we are working together with administrative personnels,” Idrissou joyfully expressed after recieving his award.

“…I want to thank God and my boss who always makes sure that we sell quality fish. My boss’ motto is sell to your brother what is clean in order to be valuable tomorrow in another person’s eyes.” he added.

Some agents of the ministry of livestock fisheries and animal industries in the Wourri division also recieved some honours from the delegate, for their relentless work.
