More than 17 million Ghanaians head to the polls today

Ghanaians are today voting in Presidential and parliamentary elections.

About 17 million people are expected to cast their votes across the national territory as incumbent, Nana Akufo-Addo faces off with John Dramani Maham and 11 other candidates.

Reports say some voters turned out as early as 2AM just to be able to vote in time.
