A supporter of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement, MRC party whose name MMI got as Rodrigue Ndagueho, has reportedly died of cholera. Rodrigue was chained to a bed at the New-Bell Prison in Douala at the time of his demise.
Media reports hold that, Ndagueho died of the deadly cholera disease that has been ravaging several regions of the country for the past months.
A picture of the deceased that surfaced on social showed him looking pale with a chain connecting his left leg to his prison bed.
Other reports say Rodrigue was an MRC activist arrested during the September 2020 protest which the party’s leader Prof Maurice Kamto announced.
He was arrested among scores of other supporters, some of whom President Biya later ordered for their release.
