Muyuka: Njuh’s Family decries extrajudicial killing

The body of Clinton Njuh is lying at the mortuary in Buea, South West region of Cameroon. According to Atime Madeleine, wife of the deceased “my husband was pulled out from our house at Makanga Quarter by the military, taken to the bush and shot to death. The family is really devastated and heart broken.”

Questioned why Clinton Njuh was singled out and killed by the military Saturday July 4, 2020, Atime Madeleine says “the military forced opened the door and got into the house very early at about 4:00 a.m. and asked my husband to show them the guns he is hiding. He said they should search the house and that he knows nothing about guns. So they just bundled him to the bush were they killed him. We only discovered the body after several hours.”

The family has decried injustice and what they call extrajudicial killing of their son.

Muyuka, situated a few kilometres from Buea in the South West region of Cameroon, has for over three years now been a frequent scene of military /ambazonian confrontations.
