Mystery Surrounds Death of French Vice-Consul in Cameroon

The circumstances surrounding the untimely demise of the vice-consul of France in Cameroon have left investigators puzzled. According to several sources, the diplomat killed himself with a rope in the Nkongmondo district of Douala.

A few hours after the death of His Excellency Christian André Marie Hue, the circumstances of his death remain unclear.

According to several sources, the diplomat was found hanged yesterday afternoon at around 3 p.m. at his residence in the Nkongmondo district. Still, according to these sources, the tragedy would have occurred exactly at the place called Carrefour Eto’o. Many are still trying to understand what would have pushed the man of sixty to kill himself.

Some believe that the diplomat was killed and then hung on a rope. It is difficult to say at the moment. What is known is that it has been established that the France consulate in Cameroon has been in the midst of a fake visa trafficking scandal for a few days.

The French and Cameroonian authorities have opened an investigation into this matter.

Christian André Marie Hue was 66 years old. Born on June 7, 1957, in Mazingarbe, France. He held the positions of Deputy Consul of France in Cameroon and Head of Chancery at the Consulate General of France in Douala.
