Nearly Dozen Killed in Far North Boko Haram Attack

Over 11 persons have been killed and 14 others severely injured in a bloody Boko Haram attack Sunday August 2nd 2020 In the Far North region.

The attack took place in Mozogo subdivision of Mayo Tsanaga Division of the Far North region of Cameroon.

MMI gathered that Boko Haram Islamic militants stormed the locality at dawn after haven over powered soldiers and vigilantry group members on guard at a Frontier post.

While in the locality, they targeted property of villagers, killing, burning and looting.

The attack has provoked a mass movement of local inhabitants into mokolo, chief town of the division.
