Douala Cameroon: A new civil society organization aimed at placing Youth
at the pivot of Africa’s priorities has been launched in Douala-Cameroon
August 12, 2022.
With genuine concerns about the predicament of African youth who
complain of being left in the back seat of leadership, this apolitical
organization has come to give hope to the hopeless and practically inspire
young people across the continent to pick up the mantle for change.
Having the world’s youngest population with 70% of sub Saharan Africa
under the age of 30; Africa’s reality will be feasible if the new generations
are empowered to realize their best potentials.
The New Era Youth for Africa wants youths to move from ‘’Mere speeches’’
to ‘’doing the talk.’’
Made up mainly of civil society members who have been quite vocal in the
media, the NEYA crew wants to work with governments of African countries
and international organizations to open up doors for the youthful population.
With headquarters in Cameroon, NEYA is currently working underground to
expand the organization to all African countries and its diaspora
