New Updates on Fake Police Commissioner Arrested in Yaounde.

The 24-year-old fake police commissioner identified as Sophonie Miamakoe Kallo, who was arrested in Yaounde on the night of August 27-28, was presented to the press on September 5. Kallo was wearing the uniform of a police commissioner at the time of his arrest and was armed with a small knife.

After further investigations, it was discovered that Kallo was an ex-convict who had been to prison for theft in Yokadouma, East Region. He was already suspected of being involved in a human bone trafficking case since he used to work as a mortuary attendant.

Kallo was arrested after he was found driving a car with fake police plates. He attempted to flee when the police stopped him, but they eventually caught him.

During questioning, Kallo admitted to impersonating a police officer. He said he did it to intimidate people and get away with crimes. He also admitted to being involved in the illegal trade of human bones.

Kallo is being held in custody and is awaiting trial. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

In addition to the human bone trafficking case, investigators are also looking into whether Kallo was involved in other crimes, such as extortion and kidnapping. They are also trying to determine how he obtained the police uniform and the fake police plates.

This case is a serious matter, and it is important that the authorities get to the bottom of it. If Kallo is found to be involved in other crimes, he could face even more serious charges.

It is not the first time that fake law enforcement officers have been apprehended in Cameroon. It has become a rampant phenomenon, requiring more proactive solutions from the forces of law and order.
