At least 4 persons have been confirmed dead in an accident which occured around the Mbe cliff in Ngaoundéré, Adamawa Region.
The accident involved a 70 seats bus which belongs to the Danay Express Travel Agency, transporting over 60 passengers at the time of the happening.
The Bus left Ngaoundéré for Maroua in the Far North Region when the tragedy occured, leaving four persons dead on the spot. The four victims were an 18 year old student, a three-year-old child and two other adults aged between 55 and 70.
The cause of the accident according to the police, is excessive speeding by the driver, who lost control of his wheel at the cliff.
At least 31 persons were wounded in the accident, and have been evacuated to the Ngaoundéré Regional Hospital for medical attention.
