The Non- Governmental Organisation, NGO, Vision of Hope and the Member of Parliament, MP, for the Bafut-Tubah Constituency, Honourable Agho Oliver have rescued a 77-year-old woman, Monica Lum from squalid conditions.

The woman who is a widow was sleeping on a bamboo bed that was tattered. Her room was untidy and she was living alone.
When Vision of Hope got information about the living conditions of the woman, they sought support and assistance from Hon. Agho who accepted to help.

The support and assistance from the Member of Parliament enabled the Vision of Hope organization to provide the 77-year-old with a modern bed, mattress, blanket, and a set of bedsheets.

While handing over the donation to Lum, a representative of Vision of Hope, Sirri Juliana, appreciated the donor and prayed God to continue to use him to change the lives of others in Bafut.

On her part, the old widow said she is grateful to God and Hon. Agho for making her smile again after years of living in deplorable conditions. The gifts were handed to the widow Sunday, April 3rd, in Bafut.
