A Nigerian man whose name MMI got as Oluwatobi Kufeji Alejò Pàtàkì has embarked on a 200-hour Praise and Worship marathon after receiving approval from the Guinness World Records.

Currently ongoing in Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria is an attempt to overthrow the current Indian record holder by the name Sunil Waghmare who broke the longest singing record in March 2012.

“The longest singing marathon by an individual lasted 105 hours and was achieved by Sunil Waghmare (India) in Nagpur, India, from 3 to 7 March 2012,” states the GWR on their website.

According to Oluwatobi Kufeji, he is, “very convinced that will break the record. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

“Just like David in the bible who testified of defeating a lion and bear in the wilderness to convince King Saul of being able to defeat Goliath, I have severally broken these records in my closet fellowshipping with God,” he went on.

The singer has so far covered 5 days of his challenge and is currently heading toward accomplishing the 200 hours.

“This achievement will bring about an outstanding success and fortune in my music ministry and career and great honour and glory to Nigeria and Africa to the glory of God,” he said.

Oluwatobi Kufeji it should be noted is equally planning to embark on a 22 days longest concert to break a record currently being held by Kuzhalmannam Ramakrishnan from India.
