Nkambe: Armed fulani invaders blamed for killing business man, injuring others in attack

Many have been left inconsolable following the death of a businessman whose name MMI got as Njamshi Eric. He was killed in an attack in Chup, a village in Nkambe Central subdivision of Donga Mantung division of the restive North West region.

Locals are pointing fingers at armed Fulani invaders for the move. The armed men stormed the village Wednesday September 28,2022 in an unexpected attack resulting in casualties.

“The business man killed is Eric Njamshi. Those Wounded are Miriam Naan and Henry while Ngwang was brutalized”, an eyewitness told MMI.

Shock is reported to have swept the entire village as locals mourn.

The corpse of Eric was reportedly taken to the Nkambe Hospital Mortuary by bike riders while the injured battle to survive.

“Henry is under medical attention in Nkambe District Hospital,Miriam is on drugs at home and Ngwang is not fully recovered from the beatings” our source further said.

The administration has not reacted to the incident as at press time.

Chup has known relative calm since the killing of a separatist commander known as Mad Dog who made his base there.
