Nkongsamba: BIR element arrested for robbing game store

An element of the Cameroon Rapid Intervention Battalion, BIR, has been arrested for robbing a game store in Nkongsamba, a town in the Littoral Region of Cameroon.

The dramatic scene was displayed in the early hours of Friday, January 6, 2023, precisely at Carrefour Lele.


The BIR element, equipped with a long machete terrorized the shops in the neighborhood including a game store where he succeeded to lay hands on the sum of 80,000 FCFA, MMI has learned.

He was apprehended by his fellow military and police officers under the watchful eyes of the locals of the neighborhood.
