Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie loses 16-year-old son

Renowned Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has lost his first son.

16-year-old Kambilichukwu Edochie collapsed on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, while playing a football game alongside some friends.

He later passed away after being rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

His death comes two months after his father celebrated his birthday on his Instagram handle.

He wrote: “A very happy 16th birthday to my first son, Kambilinachukwu Leo Yul-Edochie. May God lead and protect you always. With many more happy years. Daddy loves you.”

Neither Yul nor his first wife and mother of the deceased boy, May Edochie has issued a statement.

Yul Edochie’s family has been in the spotlight recently, following his decision to marry a second wife.

Opinions have been divided on social media with many condemning his action.
