Nollywood is once more mourning the passing away of one of its renowned actress, Cynthia Okereke.
The 63-year-old filmmaker is reported to have passed away on the night of Tuesday July 11, 2023 in her sleep.
The news of her sudden death was made public in a tweet by Nigerian actor Joseph Okechukwu.
“I pray I’m able to recover from this shock. Life is really just a mist. One minute you have it, the next you don’t,” he wrote on his Official Twitter handle.
According to Joseph Okechukwu, he was about to pay for your flight ticket abroad when he was informed about the actress’s demise.
“The fact that I was about to pay for your flight ticket to come finish what we started only to here you went to be with Lord just last night is one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to deal with in recent times,” tweeted Joseph Okechukwu.
The renowned actress dies a year after she was kidnapped and released alongside her fellow actor Clemson Cornel.
