An accident that occurred between Tohogo and Carrefour Lagdo in the North Region of Cameroon led to the death of three persons.
The accident involved a motorbike and a private car. Witnesses say the motorbike rider, who had on his bike three other passengers, attempted to bypass the private car.
However, with the weight of four persons on the motorbike, it lost its control in the process.
The bike fell over on the highway and a heavy-duty truck that was coming from behind crushed three of the four men on the bike causing their instant death.
The motorbike rider, however, survived the ordeal unharmed.
