Dr. Kingsley Che Soh, regional delegate of public health has called on those criticizing his handling of the breakdown of machines at the haemodialysis centre in Bamenda to do something and help kidney patients rather than dwelling on criticisms.
On his Facebook account, Dr. Kingsley Che Soh writes ” … I thought by now I would see a GofundMe drive to help these patients benefit from dialysis sessions they have missed. But so far, only talking, analyzing, and talking grammar. Please for once, be part of the solution and not part of the problem.”
To the delegate, that is the only way people can show love to kidney patients that have not been on dialysis for weeks because of a breakdown in the machines.
Dr. Kingsley Che Soh insinuates that not only kidney patients preoccupy the regional delegation of public health. “Hemodialysis is not the only service we offer to patients. You are free to come to their aid. Action speaks louder than words.”
Dr. Kingsley Che Soh turned down a telephone call from Mimi Mefo Info Wednesday, January 6th to explain more.
The post on the Facebook account of Dr. Che Soh has been rated as mere provocation and arrogance from an administrator in the domain of public health.
Earlier in a protest action by kidney patients in Bamenda Tuesday, January 5th, the patients described the regional delegate as a “liar”. They recounted several pleas for him to repair the machines to no avail.
The provision of eight new hemodialysis machines promised by the minister of public health Dr. Manaouda Malachie to the centre this week is yet to materialise.
