Ntui: Man who allegedly murdered brother over inheritance issues, arrested

A man who allegedly murdered his brother over an inheritance has been arrested.

He was arrested some few days back by the elements of the Ntui Gendarmerie Brigade.

According to reports, the incident occurred over 5 months ago in Ntui, the capital town of Mbam-et-Kim division of Centre Region.

The suspect and the victim who happens to be his elder brother were at loggerheads over inheritance issues.

It was therefore on April 17, 2022, that, “… the suspect hit his elder brother with a club. The ill-fated man was rushed to the hospital where he died a few hours later following a severe head trauma,” the National Gendarmerie indicated.

“After being on the run for over 5 months, the suspect was finally arrested and made a full confession,” according to the National Gendarmerie.

He was later referred to the competent court on 18 August 2022 to be held accountable.
