Obituary: Death snatches Cameroon amputee football player Chutih Liberty

Cameroon amputee football player, Chutih Liberty is no more.

He passed on in Douala on Sunday, July 3, 2023, after a protracted illness.

A statement from the Cameroon Amputee Football Federation announcing the death said “It is with a heavy heart that the Office of the Secretary General of Cameroon amputee football announces with regret the passing onto glory Mr. Chutih Liberty after a protected illness”

Chutih Liberty played for the Cameroon Amputee Football national team in Angola during the African Amputee Football Nations Cup 2019.

He also played with Dove AFC of Douala.

According to the Secretary General of Cameroon Amputee Football, “Mr. Liberty was a good and friendly Amputee football sportsman who believed in an inclusive Cameroon but had no chance to experience such dreams. He will be deeply remembered and may His soul Rest in Peace”

“Our deepest condolences to His beloved family and to the entire Amputee football families in Cameroon,” the Secretary-General said.
