On its way to Bamenda: Body of Ni John Fru Ndi makes brief stop at Bafoussam Festival square

The remains of late Ni John Fru Ndi, chairman of the Social Democratic Front SDF Party have made a brief stop at the Bafoussam festival square in the West Region of Cameroon.

En route to Bamenda, the convoy transporting the corpse of Ni John Fru Ndi stopped for a brief ecumenical religious service.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the authorities of the West region, headed by the governor of the West region, Awa Fonka Augustine.

Fru Ndi’s body will later be taken to Bamenda for the continuation of the funeral.

Ni John Fru Ndi is expected to be laid to be buried on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his Baba II village, Santa Division. North West Region of Cameroon. He died on June 12th, 2023 following a protracted illness.
