Onana to wear No.24 at Manchester United.

By Washira Helene

Manchester United have confirmed that new signing Andre Onana will wear the number 24 shirt. The Cameroonian goalkeeper joined the Red Devils on a €51 transfer from Inter Milan this summer after his contract with the Italian club expired.

Onana will be the third goalkeeper to wear the number 24 shirt for United, after Edwin van der Sar and Sergio Romero. He will be hoping to follow in their footsteps and become a successful goalkeeper for the club.

The 27-year-old is a highly-rated goalkeeper who has been capped 26 times by Cameroon. He is known for his shot-stopping ability and his distribution skills.

Onana will be competing with David de Gea and Tom Heaton for the number-one spot at United. He will be hoping to make a strong impression in pre-season and force his way into the starting lineup.

Onana’s arrival is a boost for United’s goalkeeping department. He is a talented goalkeeper who has the potential to be a long-term success at the club.
