The first incident involved Nji Prince, widely known as Bakayoko, who was killed and left in Mbingfibie, a neighborhood in Mankon, Bamenda. His body, discovered early Saturday, August 24, bore gunshot wounds and a broken arm. According to sources, he was shot by gunmen around 8 p.m.

He is said to have been shot at about 8PM yesterday, August 23rd. His corpse was only identified this morning by the population,” a former schoolmate of the deceased said.
