OneTeacher: Enabling Home Education With Fun Offline

OneTeacher is an education tool which can be used from home for learning. It can also be classed as a tool for Homeschooling, also known as home education which is the education of children at home or a variety of places other than school. Home education is usually conducted by a parent or tutor or online teacher.

OneTeacher comes with a lot of different features to enable learning at home or any local community in Africa study away from school at no cost and supports offline access to all content without mobile data or WIFI.

We are aware of the challenges faced by various communities in Africa with education and for that reason we have created OneTeacher where every parent can become a teacher and a learner at thesame time.

Family bonding and communication is what we want to develop within families in Africa and with the family being the central core of our development, we want parents to be able to instruct and observed their children during studies. By so doing, they become part of the learning process and also share ideas about the course studies.

OneTeacher also gives parents an idea of what their children also study in school and what is expected from them at the end of each lesson. It also provides an opportunity for parents to be able to identify the strength and weaknesses of their children providing a medium which they can use to support their children.

OneTeacher Key Features:

General practical subjects which is gathered from an array of different courses guides and lesson from accross different curriculums across African and the world. We have introduced practical subject guides that reflect the daily life of the people in relation to their local communities.

Course Content:
The content of OneTeacher is general a set of instructions and guides to study. Parents and learners are to use these guides to gather the materials from a set of instructions provided to build a whole lesson. We encourage parents to use their local text books and other course materials to complete each lesson.

Amba Brainiac Game:
To make OneTeacher more fun for the learner and the family during studies, we have introduced a multiple question General Knowledge quiz to test the skills of learners and to create a fun environment at home to compete with each other having fun while learning.

Notification and Sharing:
We have also introduced a notification board which learners and parents including tutors can access via the menu as a medium of updates. Courses will regulary be updated to improve and add more content the the current course materials. We encourage all users to occasionally visit this area for any updates.
