Only Biya’s resignation will bring peace to Cameroon – BAS

The Brigade Anti-Sardinade, BAS has called for the release of Ayuk Tabe and other Ambazonian leaders and activists arrested in Nigeria.

lauding the recent release of political prisoners including Maurice Kamto of the MRC by President Paul Biya, it says this was thanks to it’s resistance.

“Paul Biya cannot play with the freedom of Cameroonians by arresting when he wants and releasing them as he wishes” a statement from the group read.

It’s demands for the release of Mancho Bibixy, Ayuk Tabe and co it added, remain unchanged, adding that other Patriots including Paul Chouta be released.

The statement by BAS also called for an end to killings in the Anglophone regions , the convening of an all inclusive dialogue under the guide of the international community and the return of refugees and care for the abandoned.

“Finally, the Brigade Anti-Sardinade reminds that only the immediate resignation of Mr Biya fan bring peace to Cameroon” it notes.

The BAS it Should be recalled had increased demonstrations as well as attacks on government officials abroad since the arresting of Maurice Kamto and other MRC party militants.
