“For this, I promise that this academic year I will be the 1st  in my class” she added.

Her joy is also shared by Hashiatu Ibrahim who will be sitting for the GCE Ordinary Levels.
She expressed excitement to resume school after receiving the school materials.

“This goes directly to my heart, it’s so touching that we are seeing people who are so ready to help us and are happy to see us grow to  become better in the future” Hashiatu told Mimi Mefo Info.

“It’s also a challenge for me to work harder so I can get greater results at the end” she further said.

Speaking during donation exercise, CAIWOF’s National Coordinator, Bouba Aeisatu hailed her partners for their unwavering support. She said her NGO has been at the forefront of the intellectual development of these young girls through numerous capacity workshops tailored to that end and by so doing they have been able to identify their various career choices.

“This materials is going to go along way to help these young girls in pursuing their dreams, you know things are very difficult at this moment given the fact that we have Covid-19 that has brought down  many parents. We feel that by supporting these girls,  they will be able to also reduce the burden on their parents and it’s also a way for us to help keep the girls in school and to avoid early and force marriages”.
“We are very happy about their last years results and we are hereby encouraging them to continue the good work that they are doing” she stated.
