Panic in Bamenda as explosive devices detonated on eve of National Youth Day

Loud sounds emanating from explosive devices detonated in the town of Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon has thrown the city into a state of pandemonium.

The sounds were heard around the T-junction, Rendezvous, Azire New Church and many other neighborhoods within the city.

The incident occurred Friday February 10, 2023.

It is not clear if the Explosive devices were detonated by separatist fighters.

Bamenda has been heavily militarized ahead of Youth Day celebration tomorrow.

Areas like Nkwen, Ntarinkon, behind Che have witnessed an unprecedented presence of soldiers.
