Partial Cabinet Shake-Up In Cameroon; G20 Member Compensated, Tchiroma Gives Way To Sadi

Two months after Paul Biya was sworn in as President of the Republic of Cameroon, and Ten months after the previous cabinet shake up, he has today appointed new members of his government.
The cabinet reshufflement has simply seen few changes and replacements.

Chief Dr. Dion Ngute Joseph was appointed to replace Philemon Yang as Prime Minister.

After concerting with the newly appointed Prime Minister of Cameroon Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute, president Paul Biya appointed the following ministers:

1) Jacque Fame Ndongo, minister of state ministry of higher education.
2) Ibrahim Talba Malla, minister of Public contracts.

It’s is however not an all-new ministerial shake-up as some ministers simply changed portpholio and others moved from one ministry to the other .

Issa Tchiroma, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training.

Rene Emmanuel Sadi- Minister of Communication

Narcise Mouelle Kombi-Minister of Sports and Physical Education

Bidoung Mkpatt- Minister of Arts and culture

Talba Malla Ibrahim- Minister of Public Contracts

Celestine Ketcha Courtes-Minister of Urban Development and Housing

Mbarobi Gabriel- Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development

Henri Eyebe Ayissi- Minister of State Properties and Land Tenure

Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa-Minister Basic Education

Dodo Ndonke Gabriel
-Mines, Industry and Tech Development

Bassilekin III Achille- Minister of Small and Medium Size Enterprises social economy and handicrafts.

Manaouda Malachie- Minister of Public Health

Njoya Zachario- Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Transport.

Paul Goghomu and Ndong Benoit- Ministers incharge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon

Wakata Bolvine- Minister Delegate at the President in-charge of relations with the Assembly

Jean de Dieu Momo- Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Justice

Njoya Zachariou- minister delegate at the ministry of transport.

Jacque Fame Ndongo – Minister of State Minister of Higher Education.

Ibrahim Talba Malla – Minister of Public Contract.

Jacques Fame Ndongo remains minister of higher education, but moves from the rank of just a minister to a minister of state.

While his colleagues, Rene Emmanuel Sadi, formerly minister of special duties at the presidency of the republic, becomes minister of communication.

Pierre Ismail Bidoum Kpwatt moves from the ministry sport to the ministry of Arts and Culture.

Narcise Mouelle Kombi former minister of Arts and culture become minister of Sports and physical education.

Heneri Ayebe Ayisi moves from the ministry of Agriculture to become mister of State Property and Land Tenure.

Minister Laurent serge Etondi Moves from the ministry of small and medium size enterprises social economy moves to become minister of Basic Education.
