PRE DAILOGUE CONSULTAION; Momo Division puts 20 points on Table.

Momo division has put forth 20 points for discussion on the national dailogue table. These recommendations where arrived at Friday September 20th, 2019 during a meeting in mbengwi presided at by the Senior divisional officer for Momo, Absalom Monono.


During the divisional pre dailogue consultative talk, all divisional officers of Momo presented the aspirations of their various subdivisions.

Traditional rulers and other participants also gave presentations, feelings and aspirations of the population they represent. At the end, ten persons two from each subdivision, and other representatives of armed groups and forces of law and order were selected to represent the division at the National Dialogue.

Some of the points include: support to victims, reconstruction of damaged property, clemency to prisoners of the crisis, review of the form of state, declaration of cease-fire, third party as moderator, neutral ground for dailogue, acceleration of justice, harmonizatioon of retirement ages and salaries of civil servants.
