Popularly known as Pa Teneng Walter, the principal of Government High School (GHS) Kwang Pinyin, North West Region, was yesterday discovered dead in Nkolfoulou, Yaoundé.
He was found lying down on the tarred road, with bruises on his body showing that he had been roughly beaten before he died.
The member of the Christian Men Fellowship, CMF Soa was dressed in the traditional North West attire, Toghu at the time he was discovered lifeless.
For now, his killers have not been identified, neither is the reason for his assassination made known.
The death of Pa Teneng Walter is the second of such involving an Anglophone Cameroonian in one week. Another similar incident involved a certain Kibuh Divine, lynched to death in Ebolowa by his employer.
Many reports have suggested that the events leading to Kibuh Divine’s death are centered around him getting involved in a scuffle with his boss after he demanded a wage increase.
