PWD FC president harassed by police at Douala Stadium

The president of the PWD Bamenda Football Club has reportedly been harassed by the police at the Bepanda Annex Stadium in Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.

A source who followed the encounter told MMI that the police described thr PWF president as an ‘impostor’ adding that he did not recognise him.

“The president was entering the dressing room where his player was… The policeman stopped him and when he tried to explain himself, the police officer slapped him and that’s how the clash started,” narrated our source.

The incident “disrupted the encounter for a moment,” added our source.

The match between PWD Bamenda and USM Loum which ended in a 1-0 in favor of UMS Loum.

Both teams are currently compete in the Elite One, the highest football league in Cameroon.
