Ramadan: Muslims in Menchum pray for end to loss of lives, properties

Calls for an end to the destruction of lives and properties dominated prayer sessions organised by Muslims in Wum, Menchum Division of the Northwest region of Cameroon as the celebrated feast of Ramadan.

Speaking shortly after leading prayers, the Imam of Wum Central Mosque Sheikh Isiaku said:

“We prayed and begged God to end the loss and destruction of lives and livelihoods and pave way for immediate peace, compassion, mutual respect, and empathy all over Menchum division.”

He also invited Muslims to make peace with mother earth and hold her jealously so that her ability to support life will not be shaken.
