Elite two club, Rangers FC Bafut has emerged champion of the maiden edition of the Bamenda Solidarity Pre-season football tournament.
Rangers FC Bafut defeated Rainbow FC Bamenda 3#0 to win the trophy Saturday, February 19, 2022, during the finals played at the Saint Paul School field in Bamenda.
The newly-promoted elite two club started the match on a good note with Striker Ndiforchu Blaise scoring a brace and another goal from attacking midfielder, Njibero Durell. It took Rangers just the first half to win the match as they kept the three goals scoreline till the end of the match.
To Samuel Ngwa Ambe, vice president of Rangers FC Bafut, the team has a formidable squad and will fight for a place in the elite one by the end of next football season.
He reiterated the need for Bamenda to have a football pitch worthy of the name.
Meanwhile, cup of Cameroon finalist, PWD Bamenda defeated Hilltop Strikers 3#1 to win the third position.
