A 74-year-old retired Cameroonian magistrate, Bisseck Dagobert, was found dead in the Simson hotel room in Yaounde Nkolbisson on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear, but police believe he may have died during an intimate moment with an unidentified woman.
According to reports, the woman left the scene after the magistrate passed away, and police are now looking for her. Investigations are ongoing.
The family of the deceased has contradicted the information that he died in a hotel room, saying that he died in his vehicle. However, police have confirmed that the body was found in a hotel room.
The Nkolbisson brigade has opened an investigation into the matter, and the unidentified woman is also wanted for questioning.
“We are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death,” said a police spokesperson. “We are also looking for the woman who was with him at the time.”
The type of relationship that existed between both parties is unknown, as is the duration of the relationship. But according to a report from the trainee receptionist who was on the seat, the woman in question is much younger than the man, who was probably her “sugar daddy”.
