Revenge Mission goes wrong: Student’s arm chopped off in Njombe

A student of Government Technical College in Njombe, Moungo Division, Litoral Region is currently in hospital without one of his arms.

According to reliable media reports, the boy called Parfait Djontenou Talla had embarked on a revenge Mission with some other persons to fight for his friend who had allegedly been roughly dealt with by another group.

The friction had started at a night vigil between Talla’s friend and the other unidentified person. It all began with simple quarrels but soon deteriorated to physical battles.

Talla’s friend was hit on the head with a stone by the other person. This was when Talla got infuriated and went into his neighborhood and called for backup to go stick up for his friend in a somehow dangerous revenge Mission.

As the fight went on, someone drew a cutlass and inflicted a deadly cut on Parfait Djontenou Talla’s arm.

After being rushed to the hospital, the arm was amputated as the only solution to save his life.

Lying on his hospital bed, Parfait said he regretted his actions and advised youths to never result to violence as he did as a means to get to a solution.
