Samuel Eto’o Fils’ ‘suspicious’ visit to the regions

Cameroon’s legendary footballer and former captain of the Indomitable Lions visited Ebolowa in the South Region of Cameroon this Monday, February 8th, 2021.

Samuel Eto’o Fils arrived Ebolowa and was welcomed by both military and civilian authorities. A source says “Some workers abandoned their job sites just to have a glimpse of Africa’s best footballer of all times. This explains why the security is tight”.

While in Ebolowa, Samuel Eto’o will among others hold a working session with traditional rulers and local regional football officials.

This is the third region Eto’o Fils is visiting after the Far North and East Regions. In each of these regions, Samuel Eto’o has been decorated by traditional rulers while presenting some of their football problems to the legendary footballer.

The reason behind these visit remains a mystery. What is being prepared behind the curtains for Samuel Eto’o Fils is the question on every lip.

Some pundits say he is nursing plans to run for the post of the president of Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT). An assertion MMI can not independently confirm.

Following a decision of the Court of Arbitration for sports and FIFA, FECAFOOT electoral process has been canceled and thus the executive it brought to power headed by Seidou Mbombo Njoya has to be renewed.
