Samuel Eto'o hints new partnership with Puma and Cameroon Football Federation
By Washira Helene
Former Cameroonian footballer Samuel Eto’o has raised suspicions after posting a photo of him in Cameroon’s official football uniform while dropping the caption Validated and tagging Puma and FECAFOOT. This has been interpreted by many as a hint at a possible partnership between the three parties.
Eto’o has been president of FECAFOOT since 2021, and he has been vocal about his desire to improve the organization and the national team. A partnership with Puma would be a major coup for FECAFOOT, as the German sportswear giant is one of the most prestigious brands in the world.
“Validated” Eto’o said on his Facebook page tagging Puma and FECAFOOT
Puma has a long history of sponsoring national teams, and they are currently the official kit supplier for teams such as Italy, Portugal, and Senegal. A partnership with Cameroon would be a significant expansion for Puma in Africa, and it would help raise the profile of the national team.
Eto’o has not yet confirmed whether there is a partnership in the works, but his social media post has certainly sparked speculation. If a deal is indeed in the works, it would be a major boost for both FECAFOOT and Puma.
