Samuel Eto’o made prince of the Maroua Lamidat

The enthronement of the decorated footballer happened yesterday January 27th, 2021 at the great and powerful Chiefdom of Maroua, in the Far North Region.

This came as he embarked on a 72 hours friendly visit to the town of Maroua, where he visited the BIR’s who are taking charge of securing the region from the horrors of the Boko Haram, as well as the victims of the attacks that have been perpetrated by these terrorists across 6 years.

The all time top scorer for the Indomitable Lions took the opportunity to visit his majesty Bakari Bouba, the Lamido of Maroua.

Following the visit, Eto’o was made SARDAOUNA, simply put the Worthy Prince of the Royal Family of Maroua. It is also rumored that Eto’os next stop might be in the Anglophone regions, though the exact day has not been known yet.
