The lifeless body of a woman has been in a hotel room in Sangmelima, capital of the Dja et Lobo division in the South Region of Cameroon.
According to several reports, days before the incident, the woman lodged in the hotel with a man.
On the second day of their stay, the man left the hotel claiming he was going out for shopping.
Neither the woman nor the man was later seen for a long time and the door to their room remained shut. The manager of the hotel then decided to break down the door when the corpse of the woman was found.
The whereabouts of the young man are unknown at the moment.
