Cameron’s leading opposition political party, the Social Democratic Front, SDF will run for the upcoming senatorial election only in one region.
This is what emerged during a meeting today organised by Elections Cameroon, ELECAM.
The meeting was dedicated to the publication of the lists of various political parties gunning for the senatorial election.
It emerged that the SDF had filed candidates only in two regions.
While SDF list for the North West was retained , that of the Adamawa was rejected, according to ELECAM.
The Adamawa list of the SDF was thrown out for the non-payment of the caution fee among other lapses.
