Security forces shoot kidnapper to death in Adamawa

Security forces in Tourningal, Adamawa Region, have shot dead a kidnapper, who attempted to abduct a lady.

It all began when two kidnappers stormed a house at about 3:00 am and seized a man whose name we got as Ahmadou Hadjou, whom they took into the bush.

They later demanded millions for his release.

The victim, however, engaged in a fierce fight with the latter, and he was able to regain his freedom.

After he successfully escaped from the hands of his kidnappers, Ahmadou alerted the police.

Enraged and denying to admit defeat, the kidnappers returned to the victim’s home to capture his daughter but met their doom this time around.

“They were chased by the police while on their way back to the bush. While one succeeded in escaping, the other, taken down by bullets, would succumb to death,” MMI was told.

The daughter was able to regain her freedom, while a search for the second kidnapper has been launched.
