Reug Reug wants to face Francis NGANNOU
Fresh off a victory against Bombardier, Senegalese boxer Reug Reug is wasting no time in expressing his desire to face MMA world champion Francis Ngannou. In a direct message to Ngannou, he asserts, “Yo Francis, we’re both ranked as the top two fighters in Africa!
You often claim to represent Africa, but when was the last time you gave an opportunity to a fellow African athlete? Let’s entertain the idea of a clash between us in either boxing or MMA,” declared the spirited Senegalese athlete.
Reug Reug, also known as Oumar Kane, boasts an impressive fighting career, with 28 bouts in English boxing, amassing 14 victories, 1 defeat, and 2 other fights without a decision. In the realm of MMA, he has secured 5 victories with just 1 defeat.
Recognised as a coveted talent by various mixed martial arts organisations, the Senegalese is drawing attention. However, he emphasises that his immediate goal is to reclaim the One Championship belt, currently held by Russian fighter Anatoly Malykhyn.
The Senegalese athlete’s callout to Ngannou adds another layer of anticipation to the ever-evolving landscape of combat sports, leaving fans curious about the potential matchup between these two formidable fighters.
