Amba fighters are reported to have blown-off military amoured van in Bali Nyonga, Mezam division of the North West region. This is the content of a 31-second video that has gone viral on social media.
The video is reported to have been recorded somewhere in Bali Nyonga. In the video two armoured vans are seen safely crossing the trapline at high speed while A third van is hit by a wave of explosives obviously Improvised Explosive Device, IED.
The use of the IEDs have been the modus operandi of the separatists fighters in recent times.
This is the latest development in the conflict that is ongoing now for about 5 years in the two English- regions of Cameroon. At the time of this report, it is unclear the extend of the damages or casualties caused by this attack.
